The Hidden God Plays Hide And Seek, Whilst Others Still Run From Him: Gregory Peters’s compelling, intense, playful, book is a stellar skip through starscapes, microcosms, macrocosms, pulling together a thousand worlds, universes, mazes, spirals — all of which he has explored with love and wonder for many, many years. It links Tantras and Typhons, Ages and Æons, Crowleys and Chaoses. In his waterfall of ideas at passionate play, you might just find yourself—or at least one of the many mirrors your mask has made for delight whilst it, we, they, all of us, skip towards The Brightest Light.

“Who am I?” The timeless question of Self and the meaning of life has been ubiquitously pondered throughout human history all over the world, resulting in myriad traditions reflective of their origins. This visionary work brilliantly bridges Eastern and Western esoteric philosophy and practice, translating these different systems in terms of each other. The author’s deep understanding of both Eastern and Western traditions is evident in how he seamlessly weaves together Eastern and Western esoteric ideas and practices, discussing concepts individually and then showing how they correspond to and can be integrated with their respective East/West counterparts. This book provides foundational history, definitions of key concepts and tools, and offers practical instruction (e.g., puja, rituals/sadhanas). It is suitable for beginners and adepts alike as the author does not assume the reader has previous knowledge of concepts, yet the content is so original and profound that it is sure to be of great value and inspiration to more advanced students as well. The work is well-referenced and filled with many important quotes from original texts, the material is well-organized, and complex ideas are clearly presented and easily understood. Studying and practicing New Aeon Tantra will guide you on a journey of Self-discovery, consciousness evolution, and living in accordance with your True Will/svecchacara.

The book New Aeon Tantra by Gregory Peters is the book I’ve been searching for since joining Amookos. Gregory’s clear and reflective writing style, combined with his extensive knowledge of the Tantric tradition, guides the practitioner/sadhaka into this unique magical system. New Aeon Tantra effortlessly integrates the core principles of Eastern Tantric teachings with the magical traditions of the Western world. This book introduces exquisite meditations and rituals suitable for both individuals and groups. Notably, the “Diamond Sapphire Gem of Radiant Light” ritual enhances the journey for any student on the Tantric-Typhonian path. New Aeon Tantra will elevate your Tantric Magical practices to new depths and levels of mystery.
I would definitely suggest this book to my colleagues and students as it is truly exceptional.

I am exceptionally impressed on many levels with Gregory Peters new book New Aeon Tantra, both professionally and personally. Every Thelemite, Witch, Tantrika and Occultist would absolutely find this book utterly engaging and also a gateway into various esoteric practices that most are not familiar with, but should be. I immediately fell in love with this book because as I read with increasing joy it echoed much the unique panorama of my orn occult experiences as a Pagan, Witch, member of the Typhonian OTO, the OTO and as an initiated Nath and Uttara Kaula Tantric. I wrote Tantra For All to try and open this world to western occultists, but this book will likely do a much better job of revealing the roots of both Tantra and all the many aspects of magick than any of my individual books, and this is vastly important. This is the book I dreamed of writing to open all aspects of magick, but it is far more organized and directly applicable than any such all-embracing book I could have written. I am overjoyed as I’d always hoped that a book that simultaneously opened to so many aspects of Eastern and Western occult practices could be blended in such a creative manner- it is fantastic! It is rare to find such a versatile, well organized but also well blended and coordinated book covering such diverse occult and spiritual practices and rites, including Kenneth Grant! I loved the flow of ritualistic pragmatic instructions similar, yet more explicit and organized, than all the various groups I worked with. It is an all-embracing book that is also fashioned in a carefully woven, exciting and unique manner. From Mala to Babalon to Thelemic and the outer gateways of the Typhonian Gnosis, this is a remarkable achievement. I have many friends involved in all the esoteric and occult methodologies mentioned and I will recommend this book to all of them. I’m specifically overjoyed to see a serious focus on the Great Goddess in so many esoteric practices, including Babalon and Shri Lalita. It is wonderful to see so many scintillating reflections of ‘SHE who should be honored’ on every level by every occultist! This book is a great panoply and a lovely weave of Shakti that unveils the actual meaning of ‘Tantra’ as well as Thelema, a great achievement. I can not recommend this book enough for all those interested in any esoteric and occult practices. It will open their eyes, heart and mind to the unity of all real magickal work, no matter what kind or origin. It is time for serious esoteric students and adepts to open up to all esoteric spiritual practices, not just the one they are working with, for this is indeed the Great Work!

Gregory Peters is among those who write from practice drawm from Eastern and Western sources that he has used himself, and is fully engaged with Shakti sadhana, where Indians have always kept the Goddess in equal regard to the male deities like Siva or Krishna. Here contact with gurus from at least one of the five main amnayas has, with Dadaji Mahendranath of the Utttarakaulas, Northern, Amnaya passed on a Goddess centered cosmology to Westerners. Read on, and advice on all aspects of practice of East and West will be yours.

Peters opens the door of the heart to give us the elements to perceive the immense wisdom of the Yoginis. This beautiful book is a spiritual journey into the intricate and powerful world of the Yoginis. A reference book, a spiritual guide.

Distilling his experience of working with the Yoginis, this practical account has much to offer. Across seventeen well-structured chapters, the reader progresses through sound introductory material to learning to work with the Yoginis. I enjoyed reading this book very much, and learned a good deal along the way. Highly recommended.
